Brian Werner, MARKETER

Brian Werner is President of Recro Sports Concepts and a Strategic Partner of R&R Global. Werner has over 28 years of experience in sales, management, marketing and providing advisory services on a wide range of topics to the hospitality industry.

As one of the hospitality industry’s top specialists in Latin America and Caribbean affairs he is uniquely qualified to oversee R&R Global’s hospitality advisory services in this region of the world.

Over his diverse career Werner has not only held several senior level positions in the Mexico and Central America, but the United States as well. This diversity of assignments has given him valuable experience in the operation, marketing and development of resorts, hotels, clubs, golf courses, marinas, and gaming destinations.

In the early 90’s he served as Vice President of Marketing for R&R Hotel Group, during this period he honed his skills with under performing and R.E.O. assets, helping R&R Hotel Group gain the reputation as top work out performers.

In the late 90’s he joined El Cid Resorts to become their General Manager of the El Cid Golf & Country Club located in Mazatlan, Mexico. Despite Mexico’s worst peso crisis, the golf course and country club reached profitability every year under his tenure. He was later promoted to El Cid Resorts Corporate Director of Development and Special Projects for their resorts throughout Mexico.

From 2000 to present Mr. Werner has served as President of Recro Sports Concepts, S.A. de C.V., Viveros Turf Pro, S.A. de C.V., and Recro Sports Concepts, S.A. (of Panama), which he founded. Under his direction, Recro Sports Concepts has become highly regarded for the exceptional advisory work they have has provided hotels, resorts, and country clubs in the United States and Mexico and for pre-development/development services they performed for projects being developed and constructed in Mexico, Central, and South America.

Mr. Werner resides in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. He speaks fluent English and Spanish and graduated with a B.A. degree in Recreation Administration and a minor in Marketing from San Diego State University.
